Resources of over 90,000 book volumes, subscriptions to 232 periodical titles, access to the materials of an additional 88 Illinois academic libraries, and services of dedicated information specialists —all strengthen the mission of Estelle M. Black Library at Rock Valley College which is to support lifelong learning by serving the information needs of students, faculty, staff and community members of our college district. The library has spaces for individual and group study. Electronic resources include databases, eBooks, and streaming video. The Library Bill of Rights guides our service.  

In order to access RVC Library online resources from off-campus, you must be a currently-enrolled RVC student or an employee of RVC. Use your RVC email address (in the example below ####### is your seven-digit RVC student or employee ID number) and your RVC network password (same password used for Eagle, Online Services, etc.). If needed, you can reset your network password here. 

Contact the Welcome Center on the first floor of the Student Center at (815) 921-4000 for assistance with password problems.
